Paul likened the church to a body, where all parts no matter how insignificant, have a part to play in making the church function as it seeks to proclaim the gospel and serve those in need.
We believe that God gives Christians gifts and talents to use serving him. In using our gifts, we bring glory to God, and also build up the rest of the body, his Church.

If you would like help discovering your gifts, please speak to our Lead Minister, Stephen Peake, or a member of the Leadership Team and we will explore with you what gifts God has given you and where you might best use these in the church.
Please note that some roles, particularly those working with children, young people and vulnerable adults will require a DBS check. We can arrange for this to be obtained for you.
Each one of us has received a special gift in proportion to what Christ has given;……...he appointed some to be apostles, others to be prophets, others to be evangelists, others to be pastors and teachers. He did this to prepare all God's people for the work of Christian service, in order to build up the body of Christ. And so we shall all come together to that oneness in our faith and in our knowledge of the Son of God;…………So when each separate part works as it should, the whole body grows and builds itself up through love. (Ephesians chapter 4, verses 7 to 13)
